to the Saddleback Valley church of Christ homepage. We are truly excited you have found us, and would like to let you know a little about what we are all about.At the church of Christ, we believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God. We accept the Bible as the standard of truth, and make every attempt to accurately follow its teachings.
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
II Timothy 3:16 New American Standard (NAS)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. We understand that only Jesus is the mediator between man and God, and thus are not a part of any denomination – but members of Christ’s church as described in the new testament.
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me."
John 14:6 NAS
Because Jesus willingly sacrificed his life on a cross so that we may have forgiveness of our sins, we eagerly strive through love to keep his commandments, and to teach others how to obtain the freedom and blessings we now enjoy in the family of God.
And Jesus came up and spoke to them saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
